Title Inspiration

“The name comes from my dad’s influence. One of his great grandfathers was Mescalero Apache and another Comanche. My dad overcame the hate from his generation, racial odds, and the contempt of citizens from fighting in the Vietnam war. My mom’s great grandmother was from Africa. Studying my heritage shows me how many lives it took for me to become Blake Lightfeather.”
