Recently… A Ford Lover

ford-truckI grew up in a Dodge family and I married a Chevy guy, but recently I’ve become a Ford lover. It occurred when President Obama decided the United States government should be in the car business. That bit of meddling from the man who’d rather I drive a plug-in vehicle than anything with strength was enough to turn my head from the power of the Cummins Diesel and the heft of the Duramax to the heart of the Ford-  Ford Tough.

In a few short months , our newly elected President has tried to up end my beliefs, my thoughts and my rights and frankly…I’m not falling for it.

At first I was angry but then I did some soul searching and revisited what I believe and where I stand on things.  And I decided the time for being quiet had ended.

First of all, since I abhor having people cram their ideas  and opinions down my throat, I’ve always made a huge effort not to cram my ways and ideas down any one else’s throat.  That probably won’t change a lot but then again I’m not going to hide my opinions either.  I have come to realize that there are a lot of us in America.  We have kept quiet about what we believe regarding faith, regarding rights, regarding morals because we believe that everyone has the right to their own opinion.

And the more Barak Obama and his crew try to shove their way through the Presidency the stronger the American Patriots become.  The numbers are growing  and the weak are being strengthened.  And I don’t mind telling you that God has not forsaken His people.

FORD-TRUCK-MOTTOThere it is.  I believe in God the Father.  And I believe in Jesus Christ. If you have a narrow view of what a Christian is or should be you will be surprised to know that we are all different.  That’s because we are each a unique creation, kind of like snowflakes – no two the same.  And none of us is perfected. Some of us believe in signs and wonders ( miracles, healing etc., baptism of the Holy Spirit etc) and some don’t.  No one has all the answers. No one has all the doctrine right. No one except God the Father and Jesus Christ.

The men that fought for the right of this land and people to become a free nation believed in and relied on God.  The whole world belongs to God but the United States has been built on His principals and His people will not let go of those principals so easily.

That means I believe in my right to own guns, I believe in the right of children to be born, I believe in the rights of States, I believe in my right to pray in public .

I believe that strong individuals make strong countries. I believe in small businesses and free enterprise. I also believe that the Government should butt out of business and should resume the role of being a servant to the people. Too long have politicians believed they  stood above our shoulders rather than shoulder to shoulder.

I believe if you don’t love America you should just leave- get out and find something better.  Love it or leave it and that includes the First Family.

Aside from the fact that Ford is the only truly American vehicle, I like the idea of being Ford Tough.

America is waking up and her people are getting stronger. I still will not cram my ideas and beliefs down your throat…. unless you choose to make the first move at cramming.

  1. Very Nice review.

Another thing, loving the blog design. I had a similar blog myself before I sold it a year ago.
